Adult race leagues are forming for the 2016-17 season.  Sign your team up by Dec. 18th!

The cost for this season’s racing is $300.00 per team plus three GIFT CARDS with a minimum value of $20.00 each.

The team roster, race fee and gift card deadline is Friday, December 23, 2016. Teams shall consist of a minimum of 4 and no more than 10 members. Team year end standings determined by four fastest times. A female member must post one of these qualifying times.

Team Rosters and Racer Release forms with signatures must be received no later than December 23, 2016.

No one under 21 years of age may compete.

Racing Divisions:    

A – Elite – Both Male & Female

B – Expert – Both Male & Female

C – Sport – Both Male & Female

D – Snowboard – Both Male & Female – Note depending on number of racers, this league could be   broke into smaller sub divisions, like skiers.


Racing Season:

Starting date – Wednesday, January 11, 2017. This week will be for new racers that need to establish handicap & as a warm up week for all other racers.

Ending date – Wednesday, February 22, 2017

All Races will start at 6:00 PM and conclude no later than 8:00 PM

First run must be completed by 7:30PM, otherwise racer will only be able to complete 1 run for the evening.

Nightly Awards:             Nightly door prizes – must be there to win – starting around 8:00 PM.
Nightly Race Results/Awards – starting about 9:00 PM

ARL Banquet:                Famous Adult Race League Awards Gathering – Tentatively Wednesday, March 1, 2017.

Race Format:                Combination of single or dual course set.

Lycra Bib Deposit is $20.00- bib deposit is due when you pick up your bib. A $10.00 bib deposit refund will be available on the last night of racing or at the ARL banquet, upon return of bib. You must return bib no later than Friday March 18th at our main office. If bib is not returned, then you forfeit the $10.00. Please note, Cannonsburg Ski and Ride Area needs to have a completed and signed Release form for every racer on your roster in their possession before a race bib will be issued.

Please note that racers will not be allowed to transfer between race teams, so the original team roster submitted on or before December 23rd will hold for the entire season. If the team roster has open positions available, the team captain can fill those vacancies during the season. If a team member is unable to continue to compete, the team captain can permanently remove that member from the roster and backfill that spot. The racer that has been removed will not be allowed to fill an open position on another team for the remainder of the race season.
