What is The Haunted Forest?
The Haunted Forest is a spooky outdoor experience at Cannonsburg Ski Area. The woods are filled with hungry zombies, scary witches, ghosts, and other monsters that exist only in your worst nightmares. Be prepared to encounter all of them, as you try to make your way through the woods. The walk is roughly ½ mile long, and takes place on a lit dirt path that winds through the trees. Scary props and actors will create a haunted experience that is sure to spook everyone.
Dates and Hours:
October 21st- Walk-up tickets must be purchased by 8:45pm!
The Haunted Forest will run every Friday and Saturday starting October 6th through October 28th. Friday and Saturday hours are 6:30pm-9:00pm. Tickets must be purchased by 9pm the day of. The time slot you pick is the time to arrive for your check-in. Please note that there will still be a wait to check-in and enter the forest. The closer to Halloween, the busier it gets!
To speed up your wait time, we recommend purchasing an express lane ticket.

General admission tickets are $20 online and $25 at the door. Decrease your wait time by purchasing an EXPRESS LANE ticket. Express lane tickets are $30 online and $35 at the door. *Please be aware that reservation times allow us to monitor forest capacity and saves you money. There may still be a wait at the ticket office to check-in. Please print and fill out waivers ahead of time to speed up the check-in process. You can also click on the waiver button (located on the right) to sign an online waiver.
How should I dress?
The Haunted Forest happens in all weather conditions, so dress appropriately for the weather! Keep in mind you will be waiting outside, and temperatures drop in the evening. We advise lots of layers and comfortable shoes that are good for walking. We recommend bringing hats and mittens. There will be fire pits to gather round while waiting along with warm drinks and snacks available for purchase.
What are the ages for The Haunted Forest?
We ask that all guests be 5 or older. The Haunted Forest is designed to be adventurous and scary, we don’t want any young kids to be afraid. Earlier time spots are recommended for younger children
Please note that the trail is very narrow, uneven and rocky. It is not stroller or wheelchair accessible. The Spooky Forest has a wider trail!
