The Sweet Spot offers a variety of sweets, treats, and cold beverages. We proudly serve Hudsonville Ice Cream, Dole Whip, Soft Serve, and microbrews from local breweries. If you are looking for something more substantial after a hike, bike or run, we offer gourmet toast, chia pudding and parfaits. Bloody Mary's are available during the weekend. Dairy free and gluten free treats are available.

Where exactly is The Sweet Spot located?
When you pull into Cannonsburg ski area, park in the main lot. Use the walkway between the main lodge and rental building. The Sweet Spot is located on the back deck (facing the ski hill) behind the main lodge.

Thanks for a GREAT summer! The Sweet Spot is currently closed but will re-open for winter. Stay tuned for more sweet treats!
We have a variety of picnic tables (with umbrellas) and adirondack chairs along the back deck and base of the hill. If you prefer to eat your ice cream picnic style on a blanket, go for it!!! There is a lot of space for social distancing and spreading out.
Dogs are welcome at Cannonsburg! We ask that they remain on a leash while on the deck. We also ask that they remain on leash while hiking on the trails (for the safety of the dog and other trail users). Our pup cups are dog approved and we have watering stations available!
Are there bugs?
We partner with Mosquito hunters of East Grand Rapids to make sure that your visit is as enjoyable as possible. That being said, it never hurts to bring spray with you...just in case!

Cannonsburg Ski Area offers 11 miles of trail for biking, hiking and trail running! There is a pump track that is fun for both kids and adults alike. Please wear a helmet when biking!
