Learn to Ride
Our Ski & Ride department offers private and group lessons for both skiers and snowboarders. All skill levels and ages are welcome. Whether a first time skier/ snowboarder, or an enthusiast looking to tackle more advanced slopes or terrain parks, our instructors are here to help! Please note that a limited supply of lessons are available, we highly recommend booking in advance. Lift tickets are required. Our rental department offers a wide variety of sizes in skis, snowboards, boots and helmets. Please visit our rentals page for rates.

Get the knowledge and experience you need to learn to enjoy terrain parks and freestyle skiing and riding in the safest way possible. Our experienced freestyle instructors can help anyone from relatively new skiers and riders to experts take their skills to the next level. Freestyle lessons are available for both skiing or riding on a limited schedule. Private or Semi-Private 2 only.

Please be sure to fill out the waiver below before your visit to Cannonsburg.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations or changes of less than 24 hours may be charged up to 100% of the lesson price. If you miss your appointment without giving any prior notification, you may be charged up to 100% of the lesson price.
Refund Policy
If Cannonsburg Ski Area is closed to due inclement weather and we are unable to find a date to schedule that works for both parties, refunds will be issued as Cannonsburg Gift Cards for future use; gift cards do not expire.
All lesson packages expire at the end of the season in which they were purchased; no refunds on unused portions of lesson packages.
All refunds are at the sole discretion of management and will be issued as Cannonsburg Gift Cards.
