The Trail Tigers is a trail running team for children ages 5-12. This 6-week program is designed to empower young kids, teach them trail stewardship, and inspire a love for running! Kids will run once a week with their coaches to build strength both physically and mentally. We believe that anyone can be a runner! Every practice will be different and focus on a new skill attributed to running. One day they may run the trails and play pacing games, another day they may work on speed by running the slopes!

June 11th, 18th, 25th
July 9th, 16th, 23rd

6pm-7pm
Potential rain make-up date: July 30th
*Sponsorship: Trail Tigers receive special perks during the winter season. Runnders must attend at least 75% of practices to qualify.

Warm up
Getting our body and mind ready for a run is almost as important as the run! We will get stretched out and get muscles moving to stay injury free. Trail Tigers will learn the importance of taking things slow to become fast!
Run
Every week will bring something new! We aim to keep running fun and something to look forward to every day. Gratitude runs, team pacing, interval games, and singing are just some of the ways we can transform running into something exciting and engaging!
Cool down
After their run, Trail Tigers will cool down with some stretching and a well deserved snack to refuel depleted energy.
